CLINICAL NUTRITION

Healing Begins in the Gut

Nutrition is a foundation of health. What foods we choose to eat impacts our overall wellbeing. Clinical nutrition takes into account a patients individualized needs to either ameliorate a current health concern, prevent disease and/or promote health. Dr. Kylah, ND loves nutrition and you will often find her prescribing therapeutic diets. She will never prescribe you a diet that she hasn't tried herself. She is currently experimenting with the GAPS diet.

Clinical nutrition may also include the supplementation of vitamins, minerals and other natural health products.

TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE

An Ancient Science

Traditional Chinese Medicine uses a variety of therapies to treat the flow of Qi throughout the body. A common therapy associated with Chinese Medicine is acupuncture, which is offered in our clinic. Acupuncture involves inserting very thin needles into specific points throughout the body. We also offer traditional Chinese herbal formulations and cupping. Dr. Riengeutte, ND often recommends 6 treatments before results are long lasting.

Kylah also offers cosmetic acupuncture, please see services and pricing for more information.

BOTANICAL MEDICINE

Natural Healing

Botanical medicine uses plants or components derived from plants as medicine. Botanical medicines can come in many forms from teas, to tinctures, to solid extracts and even every day foods. Kylah loves to incorporate medicinal foods and herbs into her every day life to keep her feeling her best.

HYDROTHERAPY

The Power of Water

Hydrotherapy is an ancient science that utilizes different temperatures of water to promote circulation and overall wellness. Hydrotherapy has been shown to increase white blood cell production, making it a great option to keep your immune system strong and healthy during cold and flu season. Constitutional hydrotherapy, which is a service provided by Kylah utilizes hot and cold towels to achieve this effect.  You must establish care with Dr. Kylah, ND before receiving this treatment, as she must screen you for any contraindications.

Dr. Kylah, ND also offers hydrotherapy facials which are offered as either an add-on to hydrotherapy treatments, or separately. Facial hydrotherapy helps to increase circulation to the face, leaving you with a youthful glow!
